Elections 2020

Saturday, October 24, 2020

"Just because you don't take an interest in politics doesn't mean politics won't take an interest in you."
Perecles, 430 BCE

In March, our worlds turned upside-down, and the coming months will see a great deal of activity at all levels of government that will impact every individual's life for years to come. Make sure your voice is heard in determining who will be directing our Provincial Government as we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and as we move towards pandemic recovery.

This year's provincial election will be like no other in recent memory. Elections BC and the various political parties are doing everything they can to ensure this election is done as safely as possible. Do your part and make a plan on how and when to vote.

CUPE Local 1858 encourages all members to get informed and, most importantly, to vote. Help your fellow CUPE members determine who their bosses will be moving forward because voting matters!

Vote by Mail - deadline to request mail-in ballot is 8pm, Saturday, October 17
Advanced Voting -
Thursday, October 15 - Wed, October 21, 2020; 8am-8pm
General Election Day - Saturday, October 24, 2020; 8am-8pm
